    Critical Experience

    Candidates must have a minimum of 5 years of market research experience and 5 years’ experience independently crafting B2B marketing strategies with a proven track record of outcomes.

    • The candidate must have 2 years of experience leading a team.

    • Deep experience in B2B marketing lead generation

    • Extensive campaign optimization experience, including an understanding of how to fully optimize PPC, SEO, social media, and email marketing strategies for peak performance.

    • Strong presentation skills

    • Experience closing deals (as they'll be converting project clients to retainers).

    • Market research best practices, including how to avoid bias.

    Position Overview

    The Director of Client Strategy is responsible for conducting market research and crafting the supporting marketing strategy. Market research includes internal and external stakeholder interviews, offer and value proposition analysis, customer journey analysis, transaction data analysis, marketing performance audits, and customer/prospect surveys. Once you and your team have conducted this research, your role will be to develop highly tailored B2B marketing strategies backed by the research and determine the projected marketing ROI that the agency will guarantee to the clients. Your job is then to deliver the research findings and the strategy to the client and convert them into an execution retainer, making the ability to effectively close a deal paramount. Once closed, your role would be to transition the account to an account director for execution of the resulting plan and support the accounts and execution teams where needed to ensure metrics stay on track.
