Position Overview
GPS Group Peer Support is seeking a full-time Digital Marketing Specialist to lead MASStrong's digital outreach, social media engagement, content creation, and online communications strategy. This role will ensure that MASStrong's message reaches a broad audience, engaging healthcare workers, stakeholders, and partners through strategic marketing efforts, email campaigns, and digital content.
The ideal candidate is a creative and strategic communicator , skilled in social media management, content creation, video editing, and digital marketing. They will play a key role in expanding MASStrong's online presence, driving engagement, and amplifying the impact of the program.
This role calls for a communicator who is fueled by a passion for mental health equity, peer support, and the belief that collective care can transform lives and systems.
Key Responsibilities
Social Media & Digital Engagement
- Develop and manage content for all social media channels (LinkedIn, Twitter, Instagram) to amplify MASStrong's outreach.
- Write, schedule, and monitor social media posts to maximize engagement and visibility.
- Track social media analytics , measure performance, and adjust strategies to optimize engagement.
- Engage with followers, stakeholders, and community partners to expand MASStrong's reach.
- Edit and produce short-form videos for social media platforms, ensuring high-quality content that aligns with MASStrong's mission.
Content Creation & Communications
- Write and design outreach materials , including flyers, posters, email campaigns, and digital content to promote MASStrong programs.
- Develop compelling descriptions for trainings, workshops, and webinars to maximize participant engagement.
- Manage and execute email marketing campaigns to keep stakeholders informed and engaged.
- Create marketing copy for social media, websites, and promotional materials.
Video Editing & Multimedia Content
- Record, edit, and produce video content for use on social media, newsletters, and website.
- Use video editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or CapCut) to create engaging content.
- Develop video scripts, captions, and subtitles to ensure accessibility and clarity.
Website & Community Management
- Oversee content updates on MASStrong's website to ensure accurate and engaging information.
- Manage and moderate BuddyBoss community pages , fostering engagement and ensuring a positive online experience.
- Support webinar and virtual event promotion, coordinating messaging across digital platforms.
Branding & Marketing Strategy
- Maintain consistency in branding and messaging across all materials and digital platforms.
- Identify opportunities to increase brand visibility and engagement through digital channels.
- Develop monthly digital marketing reports , tracking campaign effectiveness and outreach performance.
Qualifications & Experience
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Health, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 1–3 years of experience in social media management, digital marketing, or content creation.
- Strong writing and editing skills , with experience in marketing copy, outreach materials, and digital engagement.
- Proficiency in graphic design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite) for flyer and poster creation.
- Experience managing social media platforms and content scheduling tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer, Meta Business Suite).
- Video editing expertise using tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, CapCut, or iMovie.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in healthcare, nonprofit, or advocacy outreach.
- Familiarity with Hubspot.
- Experience with website management and online community engagement.
- Advanced video editing skills and motion graphics experience is a plus.
- Spanish fluency is a plus.
Compensation & Benefits
This is a full-time (40 hours/week) W-2 employee position. Compensation is commensurate with experience and includes:
- Salary Range: $55,000–$75,000 per year (based on qualifications and experience).
