Arts Bonita seeks a dynamic Digital Media and Communication Manage (part-time or full-time, in-person) to grow and engage audiences across TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, X (Twitter), LinkedIn, and emerging platforms. This role blends creativity, strategy, and storytelling to expand reach, deepen engagement, and strengthen Arts Bonita’s reputation as Southwest Florida’s premier cultural destination. The position may be structured as either part-time or full-time, depending on the candidate’s experience.
Working under the Marketing Director and in close collaboration with the Programming, Development, and Education teams, this role supports ticket sales, class enrollments, memberships, and donor engagement through compelling digital content, integrated campaigns, and public-facing communications.
Key Responsibilities Develop and execute organic digital growth strategies across all major platforms. Create, schedule, and manage engaging, story-driven content promoting performances, exhibitions, festivals, and classes. Engage audiences through active, meaningful social media dialogue to build authentic community connections. Use analytics and performance data to optimize campaigns and demonstrate measurable growth. Collaborate with photographers, videographers, designers, and internal teams to produce high-quality visual content. Ensure consistent, on-brand messaging across all digital channels.
Public Relations Responsibilities Develop and implement a comprehensive digital PR strategy aligned with Arts Bonita’s brand and institutional goals. Build and maintain strong relationships with local and regional media outlets, journalists, influencers, and community partners. Pitch performances, exhibitions, festivals, education programs, and institutional milestones to media outlets. Coordinate press releases, media advisories, and interview opportunities in collaboration with leadership and program staff. Track media coverage, maintain press contact lists, and report on PR outcomes and reach. Identify opportunities for earned media, partnerships, and cross-promotion to increase visibility and audience growth.
Qualifications Demonstrated success achieving measurable growth across major social media platforms is required. Strong storytelling, copywriting, and visual communication skills. Professional experience in digital communications, marketing, or social media, preferably within arts, culture, or entertainment. Working knowledge of paid digital advertising tools, including Meta Ads Manager and Google Ads, with the ability to track and evaluate performance. Media relations experience or established influencer connections are a plus. Proficiency with design tools, including Adobe Creative Suite. Highly organized, collaborative, and passionate about the arts.
