    Job Description

    Digital Pharmacist’s Advanced Analytics team is looking for a talented individual who is passionate about designing, implementing, and operating analytical solutions that have direct and measurable impact to Digital Pharmacist and its customers. As a data scientist, you will employ predictive modeling and statistical analysis techniques to build end-to-end solutions for improving internal data integrity, customer churn prediction, and operational efficiency across the company, from operations to sales to retention and digital marketing. This is a new role, presenting exciting challenges to utilize traditional machine learning and data science techniques. On this team, you will help develop a strong data foundation and push the limits of existing data science methods while delivering tangible business value. Where You Will Make An Impact

    • Apply your expertise in quantitative analysis, data mining, and the visualization of data in developing data-informed strategies for growing and improving our product offerings and customer satisfaction.
    • Define and standardize the analytics, metrics and dashboards that will allow immediate and significant business results.
    • Ensure operational and business metric health by monitoring key business decision points.
    • Partner with customer facing and IT teams to build a world class pipeline generation engine to fuel the growth in both current and future market segments. 
    • Identify new opportunities to leverage our data and systems to improve business performance.
    • Drive solutions with the Operations, Sales, Finance, and IT teams to optimize the Digital Pharmacist’s ability to generate more revenue and improve customer retention.
    • Communicate results of analyses to business partners and executives.

    The Day to Day

    • Define and be responsible for key performance indicators for the global key organizations.
    • Enable a best-in-class sales forecast, pipeline and renewal operating cadence. This will include everything from assembling data, improving predictive measures, running analysis, and facilitating forecast calls.
    • Track and report on performance metrics (Leads, MQLs, Opportunities, Closed Won deals, etc.), using this data to continually optimize campaign performance.
    • Align and own the roadmap for Operations enhancements. i.e., Sales & Marketing technology stack & tools.
    • Set the standard for fast A/B testing, experimentation and iteration to continuously improve campaign performance.
    • Identify opportunities for product optimization in the customer journey and champion product changes to facilitate growth channels.
    • Build processes and controls to ensure data integrity and promote operational efficiency.

    Preferred Qualifications

    • M.S. in quantitative discipline (Computer Science, Machine Learning, Statistics, Operations Research or related field) with 2+ years experience applying data science to real business problems; or

    • B.S. in a quantitative discipline (Computer Science, Machine Learning, Statistics, Operations Research or related field) with 5+ years experience applying data science to real business problems

    • Experience in SQL and Python/R required.

    • Experience with cloud-based data platforms and managed services, Data Lake infrastructure, Data Warehousing (e.g. Google Big Query, MySQL), and CRM Tools (e.g. SalesForce)

    • Experience with business intelligence tools (Looker, Tableau, etc.) required.

    • Demonstrated knowledge and experience of marketing technologies like Salesforce, Google Adwords, and more.

    • Practical experience with and theoretical understanding of algorithms for classification, regression, clustering, and anomaly detection.

    • Excellent ability to think strategically, analyze large data sets, create an articulate, engaging narrative, and craft data visualization that is contextually impactful.
