    YOUR ROLE:

    The Digital Platform Lead for Xvantage leads the strategy and execution of our next generation of engagement offerings. From defining and implementing tools and technologies that drive deeper integration and automation to leading edge data insights and opportunities that expand our markets, the Head of Xvantage platform is defining new ways we will create value for Ingram Micro and our partners.

    JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

    Major responsibility: Define the strategy to create value from the platform

    Supporting Actions:

    • Create and implement strategy to maximize O/I through use of the platform.

    • Defining how we will transform our business and create value with partners.

    • Apply data and insights to develop and execute strategy.

    • Develops solutions which are highly innovative and ingenious by taking a broad and strategic perspective that anticipates internal and/or external business challenges.

    • Provides a future vision of technology and are on the leading edge of research and development for the corporation and industry.

    • Analyzes organizational strategy and business processes as a key member of the digital operations leadership team, developing solutions which are fully aligned with overall business goals.

    • Plan and design business processes and make recommendations and changes in order to improve and support business systems and activities.

    • Uses industry knowledge to recommend options to optimize company functions/processes.

    • Assists in areas of solutions planning, impact analysis, and risk assessment.

    • May sit on client/customer steering committees related to the broader aspects of the program/project being implemented. 

    • Define and articulate value propositions to multiple audiences, and motivate internal and external partners to take action to achieve outcome

    • Create an industry leading platform that is best in class, establishing a significant business advantage within our industry

    Major Responsibility: Drive platform impact, utilization and adoption

    Supporting Actions:

    • Develop and implement a strategy to grow adoption and utilization of the platform in all aspects of business.

    • Uses historical data, sales trends, activity reporting and market research to develop forecasts, track targets and provide various reporting (daily, weekly, monthly).

    • Utilizes data to determine potential changes in platform and business processes to drive adoption and platform impact

    • May conduct various financial assessments of investments (ROI/ROA, etc.).

    • Define actions, order of actions and application of available resources to achieve desired outcomes against global targets within timeframes

    • Work cross-functionally across multiple teams and individuals to achieve success in a team environment

    • Exercises wide latitude in determining objectives and critical assignments.

    • Influences business decisions made by leadership

    • Increased customer, associate and vendor experience while positively impacting profitability

    Major Responsibility: Technical functionality, stability, and roadmaps for the platform

    Supporting Actions:

    • Collaborates with business, engineering and product teams to ensure critical enhancements, functionality and bugs are prioritized appropriately to ensure maximum business benefit.

    • Coordinates the UAT strategy with GBS, countries, engineering and product teams to ensure meeting of agreed upon timelines and functionality deployments

    • Drives strategic alignment of the platform roadmaps and business to deliver an aligned process and platform ecosystem supporting overall business strategy.

    • Utilizes industry knowledge and user feedback to identify gaps in functionality for future development and enhancements ensuring an ever-growing set of business actions can be successfully transacted without associate touch.

    End Results: Stable platform delivering on the needs of its users while aligned with business strategy

    Major Responsibility: Stakeholder collaboration and communication

    Supporting Actions:

    • Ensures widespread understanding of direction, strategy and roadmap for the platform and engines tied to it

    • Provides regular communication to the organization around key milestones, successes and KPIs for the platform. As well as technical and functional updates around new features and enhancements

    • Creates the governance to ensure sustained high levels of satisfaction with key users and stakeholders of the platform

    • Participates in discovery of existing role impact and future talent needs to align with the technology and business roadmaps

    • Develops relationships with key stakeholders to ensure continuous feedback loops and integration of that feedback

    End Results: Well informed and aligned organization that is using data and experience feedback to move both the platform and the business forward

    YOUR KEYS TO SUCCESS:

    • College degree OR a minimum of 8 years of experience including a minimum of 3-5 years specific experience in roles similar to vendor business manager, business analytics/operations, project management, sales and ecommerce.

    • Proven ability to collaborate and drive consensus among large cross-function teams and colleagues

    • Successfully lead, motivate, influence, and drive results in a highly matrixed environment.
