    QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE INCLUDE:

    • Proven track record of creating content that spans different verticals
    • Basic understanding of HTML
    • Moderate understanding of how to write content for the sake of SEO
    • Creative and talented storyteller – highly adept at developing content to provoke engagement
    • Proficient knowledge of common marketing tools, i.e. Google Trends, Google Keyword Planner, Moz and SEMRush
    • A strong understanding of Google’s E-A-T score and what it means for search engine visibility
    • Exceptional written and verbal communications skills
    • Ability to adapt to changing market preferences
    • Ability to manage several content pieces, competing and tight deadlines
    • Ability to capture brand-voice quickly across multiple clients
    • Self-motivated and able to work proficiently in a remote environment.

    The correct person will have outstanding interpersonal skills, possess exceptional attention to detail/problem solving skills and be very goal oriented. This role interacts closely with the SEO team and clients.

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Write engaging content in a variety of formats including client blogs, product descriptions and landing pages.
    • Analyze data and trends from various sources, including Google Trends, Google Keyword Planner, SEMRush and social media platforms to help form blog schedules.
    • Edit and proofread all content to maintain consistency with our clients branding guidelines and voice.
    • Understand how to tailor content for SEO, yet still make it attractive to the average reader.
    • Create content for the Digital Position website in order to help us meet our own SEO goals.
    • Stay on top of the latest industry news regarding blogging best practices and content as it relates to SEO. Monitoring Google’s quality guidelines for content will also be a must as some of our clients have products or services that fall within YMYL.
