Role Overview The Digital Product Designer focuses on hands-on UX/UI execution within a large-scale customer experience modernization effort. This role emphasizes refactoring existing customer journeys and rebuilding them using standardized design system components. The position requires strong expertise in Figma and component-driven design systems, with a focus on delivering scalable, production-ready user interfaces across web and mobile platforms.
Key Responsibilities
Customer Journey Refactoring & UI Modernization
Review and analyze existing customer journeys to identify improvement opportunities
Refactor and rebuild experiences using standardized design system components, tokens, and patterns
Translate current workflows into scalable, production-ready UI solutions
Design System Execution & Figma Expertise
Create and maintain designs using advanced Figma capabilities including components, variants, variables, and shared libraries
Ensure consistency, reusability, and scalability across all design outputs
Enforce design system standards and minimize detached components
Cross-Platform UX/UI Design
Design and optimize user interfaces across web, iOS, and Android platforms
Apply strong visual hierarchy, spacing, typography, and interaction patterns
Ensure adherence to accessibility standards, responsive design principles, and brand guidelines
Workflow & Delivery Management
Execute design tasks independently within a prioritized backlog of work
Collaborate with product, engineering, and UX stakeholders to deliver solutions
Document design changes, decisions, and implementation guidance clearly
Collaboration & Handoff
Use Jira to manage workflow and update user stories
Collaborate with stakeholders using enterprise communication tools
Deliver structured, development-ready design handoffs to engineering teams
Communicate design decisions clearly and concisely
Required Qualifications
4 or more years of experience in digital product design or UX/UI design
Advanced expertise in Figma including components, variants, tokens, variables, and libraries
Strong experience working with component-driven design systems
Experience refactoring and improving customer journeys
Experience designing across web and mobile platforms including iOS and Android
Strong visual design skills with attention to layout, hierarchy, spacing, and consistency
Familiarity with accessibility standards and design handoff practices
Experience working in agile delivery environments
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working within enterprise design systems
Experience supporting platform modernization or migration initiatives
Experience with tokenized design systems and component governance
Exposure to product design operations or structured design workflows
