Flexion Inc. a Madison, WI based IT Consulting and Services firm is looking for a Security Analyst to work on a long-term consulting project. The client for this position is based in Madison, WI.

JOB DESCRIPTION

If you have experience implementing and maintaining an enterprise-wide security program, we encourage you to apply for this Security Analyst contract opportunity.  This is the final position needed as part of a new 3-person security team that will official begin operations in January of 2020. This team is responsible for supporting an efficient computing infrastructure throughout the Wisconsin Court System, which includes computers, peripherals, and networking equipment for over 2800 users in 80 remote locations statewide. You'll work under the direction of the Security Architect, this position focuses on the planning, implementation, and maintenance of the Wisconsin Court System’s IT security program.

Specific responsibilities are: (1) Plays a key role in planning, implementation, and maintenance of the Wisconsin Court System’s IT security system; (2) Performs network security audits at court locations throughout Wisconsin; (3) Manages user accounts, including account creation, termination, authority changes, and audits; (4) Monitors networks and computer systems for security breaches; (5) Plans and monitors security awareness training and testing for users; (6) Reacts to production system emergencies and takes appropriate corrective action; (7) Provides efficient, professional customer support, both in person and via the Help Desk.

MINIMUM REQUIRED SKILLS:

5+ years of experience in security technologies including Intrusion Detection & Prevention Systems

5+ years Active Directory

5+ years of experience in best practice Security Processes and Procedures

5+ years of experience working with Symantec AntiVirus

Communication and teamwork in security operation
