    POSITION PROFILE

    Assist the Director Corporate Sustainability & Environment (S&E) and members of the department in implementation of the Knoll Sustainability & Environment Programs.

    Specific Responsibilities to include:

    1. Sustainability Program Governance and Management support through:

      1. Review and draft updates to current Knoll S&E policies, e.g., Knoll Sustainable Wood Policy
      2. Review and draft revisions to S&E portion of Supplier Risk Assessment process
    2. Sustainable Product Design, Transparency and Certification support through:

      1. For Sustainable Wood: map the Knoll Wood Process, prepare FSC Monthly report and support FSC Audit
      2. Assist with data collection and systems implementation efforts to support product certification
      3. Assist with preparing for upcoming Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) and Environmental Product Declaration (EPD) renewal process
      4. Conduct an assessment of product certification market trends
    3. Sustainable Building Certification support through:

      1. Assist in preparation of building certification supporting documentation
      2. Conduct an assessment of building certification market trends
    4. Sustainability Communications support through:

      1. Assist with review and update of content on corporate website
      2. Assist in updating response database for RFPs
      3. Assist in updating internal training materials
      4. Assist in preparing the annual Knoll Sustainability Report
      5. Assist in preparing and entering response to CDP
    5. Environmental Compliance and Environmental Sustainability support as needed.

    • Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in a STEM discipline, Sustainability or related field
    • Product certification experience, a plus
    • LEED AP Certification, a plus
