    Job Description

    Want to work with one of America's most loved and trusted brands? The TODAY Digital team is a hub for creativity, imagination and collaboration. We're looking for a talented and creative Digital Video Producer to join our team. This person will report to TODAY's Senior Video Producer and will be responsible for shooting, editing and producing premium digital video for TODAY platforms.

    This position is represented by the News Guild – NY CWA.

    Responsibilities:

    • Produce, shoot, and edit high-quality original videos for TODAY Digital, from concept through delivery, often with a tight turnaround.
    • Produce, shoot, and edit vodcasts with TODAY talent.
    • Manage all aspects of production including research, pre-production, scripting, field production, and post-production.
    • Collaborate closely with TODAY talent, celebrities, and high-profile guests while maintaining the highest editorial and visual standards.
    • Partner with the social team to ideate, produce, and edit short-form, premium content that promotes TODAY’s original videos across platforms.
    • Communicate effectively across teams and departments to ensure smooth workflows and on-time delivery.
    • Contribute to evergreen and long-term projects during production downtimes to engage and grow TODAY’s digital audience.
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • 5+ years experience producing, shooting, and editing original digital video content.
    • Experience shooting and editing video podcasts is highly preferred.
    • Expertise in Sony camera systems (FX6, a7S III, etc.), lenses, and lighting fundamentals.
    • Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, working knowledge of Photoshop and in-app social editing tools.
    • Experience working with on-air talent, celebrities, and other high-profile guests.
    • Deep understanding of social media culture and what performs well on platforms like YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, etc.
    • Highly organized, collaborative, and able to juggle multiple projects in a fast-paced newsroom environment.
    • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.

    Additional Requirements:

    • Hybrid: This position has been designated as hybrid, which currently requires contributing from the office a minimum of three days per week. Beginning January 5, 2026, hybrid employees will be required to work from the office a minimum of four days per week. The Company reserves the right to change in-office requirements at any time.

    Salary range: $93,000 - $110,000
