About the Role
We are seeking a data-driven, results-obsessed and creative Digital and Content Marketing Manager with a passion for solar energy and a deep understanding of both our customers and employees. You thrive on analytics, celebrate every lead, and get energized when campaigns deliver measurable results. Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute a comprehensive digital and content marketing strategy focused on lead generation, brand awareness, and customer engagement for the solar industry, leveraging both design innovation and the latest content trends.
Own the company website: Manage all aspects of the website, including strategy, content, user experience, design, and performance. Ensure the website remains the central hub for all digital marketing efforts, reflects the latest brand positioning, and drives conversions.
Own content marketing and SEO: Create, optimize, and manage high-value content (blogs, landing pages, whitepapers, case studies) tailored to key solar industry search terms and customer segments. Integrate visually compelling design elements and interactive content to differentiate our brand and enhance engagement.
Implement and refine SEO strategies to improve rankings for solar-related keywords, continuously monitoring performance using analytics tools and adapting to evolving search trends.
Manage and grow our LinkedIn presence: Maintain a regular posting cadence, share industry insights, engage in relevant conversations, and explore partnerships with solar influencers. Utilize design-forward visuals and short-form video to maximize reach and engagement.
Plan, launch, and optimize paid advertising campaigns (Google Ads, LinkedIn, Trade Mags) targeting high-intent solar manufacturing keywords and EPC/developer audiences. Conduct A/B testing and leverage creative design assets to improve ad performance and conversion rates.
Design and optimize landing pages for conversion: Utilize heatmaps, analytics, and contemporary design principles to track visitor behavior and improve CTAs, lead forms, and overall user experience.
Lead email marketing and lead nurturing efforts: Develop monthly industry newsletters and personalized email sequences based on customer segments, incorporating modern design layouts and responsive templates for maximum impact.
Produce short-form video content and other digital assets for brand storytelling, campaign support, and social media, staying ahead of trends in video marketing and immersive content.
Support trade show and event marketing with targeted content, digital promotion, and visually engaging booth materials that reflect the latest in solar industry branding and design.
Regularly analyze campaign metrics (traffic, search rankings, engagement, CTR, conversion rates, open rates, bounce rates) and report on progress toward growth targets.
Stay current on digital marketing, content, and solar industry trends, including AI-powered tools, data analytics, and emerging content formats, to ensure strategies remain innovative, effective, and aligned with the evolving needs of a tech-savvy audience.
What We’re Looking For
Proven experience in digital marketing, content marketing, and design—ideally in the solar or renewable energy sector.
Graphic design capabilities: Proficient in creating and editing visual content such as infographics, social media graphics, and marketing collateral to support content marketing initiatives and enhance brand messaging
Deep analytical mindset: You love digging into data, measuring results, and optimizing campaigns for performance.
Strong understanding of solar industry audiences and the ability to create content and visuals that resonate with their needs and motivations.
Hands-on experience with paid advertising platforms (Google Ads, LinkedIn), SEO tools, website analytics, email marketing, and social media management.
Excellent written and visual communication skills: Able to craft compelling content, reports, and digital assets that engage and inform.
Collaborative, creative, and self-motivated, with a passion for driving the adoption of solar energy.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
5+ years in a digital/content marketing role, preferably with solar or clean energy experience.
Demonstrated success managing multi-channel campaigns and achieving measurable lead generation and engagement goals.
Proficient in Canva, Wix and Adobe Suite
