Job Description
WORK EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
- 2-5 years of marketing analytics experience applying statistical models to solving marketing problems. We would like to see applications of machine learning.
- Experience in business and marketing/advertising data – candidate should be familiar with ratings points calculations and sales scanner data.
- Graduate level coursework or degree in the sciences with some experience in application development. Candidate will not necessarily develop applications but experience working alongside application developers a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree required, Master’s degree a plus – we will weight potential to grow into the role as well and existing credentials.
- Experience and interest in computer programming will be appreciated
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Proficiency applying statistical models with emphasis on modern machine learning (multivariate, linear & nonlinear models, Bayesian, or time-series), optimization techniques, and quantitative marketing research (Marketing Mix, Discrete Choice, or Forecasting) – application of models important
- Experience with R or Python. Experience in other programming languages useful.
- Working experience with Nielsen / IRI data, and marketing/media data
- Experience maintaining data integrity via SQL
- Experience working with developers creating software to deploy results and insights – candidate should know how to debug an application
