    CAPABILITY: MEDIA

    Media makes ideas actionable. We advise clients on the who, what, where, and when. Then, we go into the marketplace and negotiate, buy, implement, and maintain ad space. We manage clients, but we also manage vendor relationships. We are constantly learning about emerging channels and technology, allowing us to bring new opportunities to our clients. The Media capability is comprised of 5 different specializations that you could be a part of; Media Planning, Paid Social, Programmatic, Search Marketing, and Media Technology.

    YOUR DAY TO DAY WOULD INCLUDE:

    • Executing, managing, and optimizing online media campaigns and programs for agency clients
    • Being responsible for campaign setup, trafficking, ongoing optimizations and reporting that meets and exceeds client goals
    • Supporting your team by flawlessly running paid media in API partner and social platforms
    • Leveraging planning and forecasting tools within platforms to inform budgets, bid strategies and target audiences
    • Working with the DNA team to use real-time data, testing and campaign learnings to effectively optimize and manage campaigns

    • Defining agency-wide strategic objectives and strategies, and providing strategic thought leadership on process, audience strategies, campaign optimization and the growth at the agency
    • Directing long-term and short-term strategic marketing efforts to meet both market share and sales goals, drive the value proposition of Digitas for the media team, identifying educational needs and overseeing the delivery of targeted educational programs
    • Maintaining senior level relationship and representation with publishers and industry organizations
    • Leading the core client teams to enhance client relationships, grow business and expand scope of work
    • Supporting, coaching, mentoring and training a team while maintaining a collaborative environment

    PRACTICES: SEARCH MARKETING, PROGRAMMATIC, MEDIA TECHNOLOGY

    YOUR DAY TO DAY WOULD INCLUDE:

    • Executing, managing, and optimizing online media campaigns and programs for agency clients
    • Communicating with clients; addressing tactical and performance questions, negotiating contractual terms
    • Maintaining relationships with digital-media firms/vendors and researching offerings of potential partners
    • Interacting with Account and Finance to provide accurate budget forecasts and invoices
    • Collaborating with internal Media, Project Management, and Analytics capabilities to drive timeliness and accuracy across digital campaigns
    • Maintaining quality assurance to ensure accurate campaign implementation, pacing and performance
    • Paid search marketing program management including keyword development, ad creative and strategy, trafficking recommendations, optimizing program towards key business goals and reporting
    • Understanding client audiences and identifying/sizing those audiences within our buying platforms
    • Bid strategy optimization/testing and daily checks on program KPIs and campaign budget caps
    • Collecting creative/technical specifications from sites on all creative units, including pixel sizes, technical capabilities, and traffic deadlines specific to site
    • Maintaining detailed spreadsheets tracking campaign pacing and performance
    • Implementing best practices, providing refinement and optimization recommendations and proactively identifying campaign execution issues

    THIS FOUNDATION LEADS TO OPPORTUNITIES FOCUSED IN:

    • Defining agency-wide strategic objectives and strategies, and providing strategic thought leadership on process, audience strategies, campaign optimization, and the growth at the agency
    • Understanding the consumer’s intent and translating it to how websites and the brand’s digital assets can be positioned to answer consumer demand.
    • Assessing and pursuing new business opportunities, while maintaining and growing the company’s existing strengths
    • Directing long-term and short-term strategic marketing efforts to meet both market share and sales goals, drive the value proposition of Digitas for the media team, identifying educational needs and overseeing the delivery of targeted educational programs
    • Crafting and building technology platforms to drive client business goals and future proof their business
    • Leading core client teams to enhance client relationships, grow business and expand scope of work
    • Supporting, coaching, mentoring and training a team while maintaining a collaborative environment
