Job Title: People Development Manager
Compensation: $110,000 - $135,000 annually + Bonus
Location: Hybrid. The Din Tai Fung USA Corporate Office is located in Arcadia, CA.

About the Role:
The People Development Manager (PDM) supports the department’s mission by managing and coordinating the company's human resources functions such as people planning, training and talent development, employee engagement, and employee relations to meet the company's business requirements. This position is responsible for improving employee efficiency by assessing developmental needs, designing training initiatives, and facilitating suitable training solutions for employees. This position actively searches, creatively designs, and implements effective methods to increase employee engagement and enhance and recognize performance.
Job Responsibilities:
People Planning
Helps prepare and facilitate people planning sessions for the region assigned. Educate operations leaders on the succession planning process and help lead the efforts.
Organizational Capability Building
Uses the organization's formal development framework to assist managers in identifying their team's individual development needs.
Provides training or coaching to others throughout the organization to build their capabilities, enable them to improve performance, and fulfill personal potential.
Analyzes Training Feedback Survey results of all completed training sessions to evaluate and measure results.
Employee Engagement
Drives employee engagement by developing innovative programming on multiple platforms including onboarding initiatives, career development planning, management training, employee appreciation and wellness, mentoring programs, etc.
Employee Relations
Investigates employee complaints and grievances. Share findings, resolutions, and trends with the operations team and partner with them to develop mitigation and preventative measures.
Provides guidance to management on addressing performance and behavioral issues.
Assists in processing, documenting, and/or conducting disciplinary action and termination meetings.
HR Data Analytics and Insights
Analyzes HR data to identify key trends and contribute to the creation of HR insights that enable the diagnosis of business issues, enhancement of employee engagement, and/or improvement of business performance.
Provides guidance and training to others on analyzing data from multiple sources to draw appropriate conclusions and make suitable recommendations.
HR Compliance
Provides specialist advice on the interpretation and application of policies and procedures, resolves queries and issues, and escalates high-risk cases to senior HR leaders.
Ensures the organization’s compliance with internal policies and local, state, and federal regulations.
Communications
Develops and maintains organizational communications with employees such as memos, company-wide announcements, policy reminders, and training session offerings, amongst others.

Job Requirements:
3-5 Years of experience as an HR Manager or designing and implementing employee development programs
Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or related field
SHRM/HRCI Certified Professional (SHRM-CP or PHR) credential preferred
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong presentation skills.
Planning and organizing.
Critical thinking and decision-making skills
Adept with a variety of multimedia training platforms and methods
Ability to evaluate and research training options and alternatives
Ability to design and implement effective training and development
