    Compensation: $16.78/hour + Estimated Tips ($90-$270/shift)*

    Status: Part-Time

    Location: Manhattan - Paramount Plaza - 1633 Broadway New York, 10019 *Actual tips will vary based on shift and store location

    About Us:

    Din Tai Fung is a Chinese restaurant specializing in Xiao Long Bao, or steamed soup dumplings, each made by hand with our “Golden Ratio” of 18 folds. Originally founded in Taiwan as a cooking oil retail business in 1958, Din Tai Fung was reborn as a dumpling and noodle restaurant in 1972.     About the Role:

    Bartenders directly service the bar and assigned tables, while assisting with Runner and Busser functions. Bartenders take food and beverage orders while providing personalized, exemplary service for assigned guests. Bartenders are also responsible for making alcoholic beverages for all guests in the restaurant.

    Job Responsibilities & Tasks:

    Takes, confirms, and inputs into the POS all food and drink orders

    Prepares all alcoholic drinks and associated garnishes for the restaurant

    Runs beverages and ginger settings to the tables in a timely manner

    Regularly pre-buss tables and anticipating the guests’ needs

    Cleans, organizes, and maintains the bar and all bar-related inventory items

    Packs leftovers and prepares takeout orders for dine-in guests

    Collects and runs payments on the POS accurately and securely

    Assistsadjacent servers

    Conducts bar deep cleaning, including maintains the drains and beer wells

    Complets Server Side Work and Runner Side Work

    Attends monthly staff meetings and Bartender/Server meetings

    Supporting Functions:

    Maintains a cheerful, friendly and welcoming demeanor to all guests and co-workers

    Keeps all Front of House areas clean, organized and sanitized

    Lifts/moves boxes, bags, chairs, and tables (up to 50 pounds)

    Assists with regular deep cleaning of the restaurant

    Maintains confidentiality regarding all propriety information, including but not limited to recipes and Standard Operating Procedures (“SOP’s”).

    Job Requirements:
