Since its founding, Din Tai Fung has become world-renowned for its quality, standardization, and service, and currently has over 170 locations worldwide, including 13 US locations in California, Washington, Oregon, and Nevada.ABOUT THE ROLE:The Director of Learning and Development - Training is responsible for developing and implementing learning strategies and programs for the company. This role will align people, process, and policies with values and culture to create a learning organization committed to continued development focused on driving business results.WHAT YOU’LL DO:

The Director of Learning and Development will oversee the development and execution of learning programs, processes and systems throughout the Company

Develop and implement learning strategies (MIT) that support organizational development and culture, lifelong learning, effective orientation and onboarding, and diversity and inclusion education

Implement various learning methods companywide through coaching, job-shadowing, and online training to assist management with career-pathing

Leverage LMS & technology platforms for learning delivery and measurement to enable capability development programs, dashboards for leaders to measure team member capabilities, compliance, and skills gaps to advance the overall operations and value of learning

Determine appropriate blend of traditional learning approaches with web-based technologies Perform other job-related duties as requested

Track and report return on investment (ROI) for all training and development programs

Building and maintaining relationships with training and development vendors and negotiating contracts

Setting up certifications for hourly, non-exempt employee training

Conducting research and communicating recommendations for different training programs

JOB REQUIREMENTS FOR Director of Learning and Development - Training:

Bachelor’s degree in Training & Development or a related field

5+ years of experience in developing and directing employee professional development programs

Experience using, implementing, managing a learning management system (LMS)

Experience linking training to company goals to improve performance outcomes

Strong organizational skills and problem-solving skills

Able to produce and work the following software: Excel, Word, Publisher, Power Point

Highly motivated and able to adapt to change

Positive and Professional Attitude

Maintaining confidentiality regarding all proprietary information, including but not limited to SOP’s
