JOB PURPOSE:

Drivers are responsible for driving company vehicles for delivering company goods and products and perform other runs as needed. Drivers are responsible for operating company vehicles safely and complying with the company vehicle operation policy and all applicable traffic laws. Drivers will need to perform general warehouse duties, such as loading and unloading the trucks for delivery. This position has only local delivery routes and stable working hours at 40-50 hours per week.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

Two (2) years of commercial (delivery) driving experience at food processing facility or warehouse required (Refrigerated “Reefer” Trucks or Bobtail Trucks)

Class C Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required

Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) a plus, but not required

Open Availability

Shift start times may vary from 5:00 AM - 8:00 AM depending on the delivery schedule and business needs.

Ability to stand for long periods of time

Positive and Professional Attitude

Clean DMV driving record: No infractions. Most recent DMV record required.

Pass Company Employment drug testing with random drug testing thereafter.

Must possess and uphold a valid driver’s license with a good standing driving record through employment.

Motor Vehicle Record Checks are also conducted on employees who drive rental vehicles during business-related travel and are covered by the Company insurance.
