Manager of Risk Management / Workers Compensation Manager

LOCATION: Remote position until further notice. The Din Tai Fung USA Corporate Office is located in Arcadia, CA.

SALARY FOR RISK MANAGER / WORKERS COMPENSATION MANAGER: $110,000 - $140,000 dependent on experience

JOB PURPOSE FOR RISK MANAGER / WORKERS COMPENSATION MANAGER:

The Risk Manager / Workers Compensation Manager is responsible for the management of worker’s compensation prevention, claims and mitigation. The role of the Risk Manager / Workers Compensation Manager involves the direct handling of tasks related to claims, as well as the supervision of Risk Administrators and Administrative Assistants. The role is largely responsible for reporting to the Executive Team on strategic initiatives, audits and programs led by the Risk Management team.

JOB REQUIREMENTS FOR RISK MANAGER / WORKERS COMPENSATION MANAGER:

Bachelor’s degree in related field

5+ Years’ experience working in Risk Management/Workers Compensation –restaurant industry preferable

Basic understanding of laws, regulations, insurance coverages, liabilities and general understanding of insurance industry – with specialized focus on workers compensation claims

Leadership and Supervisory skills: ability to plan, organize, manage and delegate workers compensation claims and develop/supervise Risk Management employees

Liaison between Din Tai Fung and outside agencies/vendors

Ability to work with minimal supervision and direction

Ability to operate Microsoft Office, Google and other administrative software

Experience in leading Workers Compensation/Risk Management teams preferable
