    About the Role:

    The Office Assistant (Operations Support Technician) is the collaborator whose main responsibilities are focused on assisting managers in maintaining a smooth administration process at the restaurant(s).

    Job Responsibilities & Tasks:

    Monitors and prepares payroll on a bi-weekly basis and prepares final paychecks for exiting employees

    Assists new hires with the orientation and onboarding process and maintains new hire board

    Assists with the day-to-day efficient operation of the office- and restaurant-related functions and duties such as monitoring office inventory, office supply ordering, scanning and entering invoices

    Assists the accounting team with bookkeeping tasks and compiling petty cash reports, cash deposit, and other reports on an as-needed basis

    Assists the Human Resources team with insurance tracking and other HR-related tasks

    Assists with Time Clock Adjustments and Paid Sick Leave requests

    Completes and ensures accuracy of the daily/weekly (HR, Payroll, Operations, Recruiting) checklists

    Acts as an extension of the Human Resources and Recruting team by assisting with basic HR-related/onboarding employee questions

    Supports tracking of restaurant employees attendance

    Performs customer service functions by summarizing guest reviews

    Supporting Functions:

    Cleaning, organizing and maintaining the working areas and all adjacent areas

    Lifting/moving boxes, bags (up to 50 pounds)

    Maintaining confidentiality regarding all propriety and employee information, including but not limited to SOP’s

    Job Requirements:

    Bilingual in Chinese (Mandarin/Cantonese) and/or Spanish preferred

    Experience with I-9 verification and E-Verify is preferred

    Read, understand, and follow the Employee Handbook and all company policies and procedures

    Able to make simple math calculations

    Tech Savvy - Able to produce and work the following software:

    Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Publisher, Power Point) required

    Highly motivated and able to adapt to change

    Able to write in a legible fashion simple correspondence.

    Proper dress policy and non-slip shoes worn at all times
