Dining Room Manager – Cecilia (Vancouver)

Cecilia, part of NW Hospitality Group (home to Amaro’s Table and Gustav’s), is a vibrant breakfast and dinner concept known for scratch-made food, thoughtful hospitality, and an extensive beverage program. We’re looking for strong, experienced leaders to help our team maintain high standards and deliver exceptional guest experiences every day.

As Dining Room Manager, you’ll lead a fast-paced, high-energy dining room, supporting your team, keeping an eye on every detail, and ensuring each guest leaves happy. This is a hands-on role for someone self-motivated, detail-oriented, and driven to lead by example, with experience managing busy, service-driven environments. You’ll play a key role in shaping the culture of the dining room and inspiring your team to consistently perform their best.

Hours of operation: 7am-3pm and 5pm-9pm

    What You’ll Be Doing:

Lead Daily Operations: Manage the flow of the dining room — greeting guests, overseeing service, resolving issues, and keeping things running smoothly.

Create Memorable Guest Experiences: Make each visit special, whether it’s a casual brunch or a celebratory meal.

Develop & Inspire the Team: Coach, mentor, and support front-of-house staff, building a culture rooted in pride, respect, and hospitality.

Collaborate with Kitchen & Bar: Keep communication strong to ensure seamless service and guest satisfaction.

Maintain the Atmosphere: Ensure the space is clean, welcoming, and aligned with Cecilia’s standards.

Support the General Manager: Assist with scheduling, training, inventory, and daily operations to keep the restaurant running efficiently.

    What We’re Looking For:

Experienced Leader: At least 3 years of restaurant management experience, preferably in high-volume or full-service environments.

Team-Oriented & Positive: A natural leader who motivates by example and brings energy to every shift.

Hospitality-Driven: Passionate about creating memorable experiences and making guests feel at home.

Strong Communicator: Able to listen, speak clearly, and stay solution-focused under pressure.

Organized & Calm Under Pressure: Manage multiple priorities while keeping service smooth and the environment upbeat.

Reliable & Flexible: Full-time, salaried positions are approx. 50 hours/week; hourly management positions are 40 hours/week. Availability is needed for nights, weekends, and holidays.

Why You’ll Love Working With Us:

Growth Opportunities: As a growing restaurant group, we prioritize developing our team and promoting from within.

Locally Owned, Community-Focused: We care deeply about our craft, our team, and the guests we serve.

    Competitive Salary based on experience
