    The Role

We're hiring Direct Care Staff (part-time and full-time) who are calm under pressure, consistent in structure, and genuinely invested in the youth they serve. You'll be a stabilizing presence in the lives of young people navigating some of their hardest moments — supporting daily routines, co-regulating during crises, and collaborating with a treatment team that takes this work seriously.

This is a full-time, hands-on position. It's demanding, meaningful, and not for everyone — but for the right person, it's the most rewarding work you'll do.

    What You'll Do

Supervise youth and maintain a safe, structured, and therapeutic environment

Support daily routines including meals, school, recreation, and group sessions

Apply trauma-informed and TBRI strategies to de-escalate challenging behaviors

Document incidents, observations, and progress notes accurately and on time

Transport youth to school, medical appointments, and community activities

Partner with supervisors and clinical treatment teams on individual care plans

    What We're Looking For

    Required:

    High school diploma or GED

Age 23 or older (Texas state licensing requirement)

Valid Texas driver's license with clean driving record

Ability to pass FBI fingerprinting and drug screening

Preferred (you'll stand out if you have):

Experience in juvenile detention, behavioral health, psychiatric residential treatment, or group home settings

Familiarity with trauma-informed care, ABA, or TBRI

Crisis intervention training (TCI, CPI, or similar)

Experience supporting youth with IDD or Autism Spectrum Disorder

    The right fit looks like:

Someone who stays regulated when a youth isn't

Reliable, consistent, and strong on follow-through

A team player who communicates clearly and documents thoroughly

Passionate about youth development — not just clocking in

    What We Offer

    Competitive hourly pay

Paid training in trauma-informed care and TBRI

Clear advancement pathway into Lead Staff and supervisory roles

A team that supports each other and takes the mission seriously
