About the Role:

KSTAR INC is looking for compassionate and dedicated Direct Care Staff to join our team in Kerrville, TX for both 1st and 2nd shifts! Responsibilities:

Provide direct care and assistance to individuals with daily living activities including personal hygiene, meals, and mobility

Monitor and document client health, behavior, and progress in accordance with care plans

Administer medications and follow prescribed health protocols as directed

Assist clients with community integration, recreational activities, and social engagement

Communicate effectively with supervisors, healthcare professionals, and family members regarding client needs

Maintain a safe, clean, and supportive living environment for all individuals in care

Respond appropriately to behavioral situations using approved intervention techniques

Requirements:

High school diploma or GED required

Previous experience in direct care, caregiving, or a related human services field preferred

Ability to pass a background check and drug screening

Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred

Strong communication, patience, and interpersonal skills

Ability to work 1st or 2nd shift, including weekends and holidays as needed

CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire)
