Grace Care Homes is seeking compassionate and dependable Direct Care Staff to support adults experiencing Severe and Persistent Mental Illness (SPMI) in a residential treatment setting.

Our mission is to empower minds, restore hope, and help individuals build the skills needed to live meaningful and independent lives.

Responsibilities

Provide direct care and supervision to residents.

Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) and independent living skills.

Administer and document medications as prescribed.

Complete daily charting, progress notes, and incident reports.

Support residents with appointments, community activities, and personal goals.

Prepare meals and perform light housekeeping.

Respond to emergencies and utilize de-escalation techniques when needed.

Maintain compliance with Oregon Administrative Rules, Resident Bill of Rights and Home and Community-Based Services.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED.

Must be at least 18 years old.

Ability to pass a criminal background check.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

One year experience in caregiving, behavioral health, or mental health services preferred.

Schedule

Saturday 7 AM - 7 PM & Sunday 7 PM - 7 AM
