    Job Title: Direct Care Staff

    We are looking for dedicated and compassionate Direct Care Staff to support individuals with severe and persistent mental health challenges in a Residential Treatment Home. This role is essential in fostering a safe, supportive, and structured environment for our residents. All duties must be performed in compliance with Oregon Administrative Rule (OAR) 309-035-0100, as well as all applicable federal, state, and local regulations.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Administer and manage medications in accordance with training and regulations

    Assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), as needed

    Prepare and serve meals while adhering to dietary restrictions

    Perform light housekeeping and maintain a clean living environment

    Provide companionship and emotional support to residents

    Accurately document resident progress and report any unusual incidents

    Respond appropriately in emergency situations

    Participate in ongoing training, health screenings, and professional development

    Encourage participation in hobbies, education, and social activities

    Required Skills and Competencies:

    Ability to quickly learn and use relevant office and care-related technology

    Strong time management and multitasking abilities

    Knowledge of emergency response protocols, First Aid, and CPR

    Solid housekeeping and meal preparation skills

    Commitment to maintaining health and safety standards

    Empathy, respect, and strong interpersonal communication skills

    Physical stamina and ability to follow emergency protocols

    Capable of de-escalating stressful situations and providing calm, supportive care

    Qualifications:

    High school diploma or equivalent

    Must be at least 18 years of age

    Minimum of one year of caregiving experience

    Proficiency in medication administration preferred

    Ability to read, write, and follow verbal and written instructions

    Must pass a criminal background check

    Documentation of Tuberculosis and Hepatitis B status within two weeks of employment

    Must meet any additional qualifications required by funding sources or contracts

    Schedule & Compensation:

    12-Hour Shifts:

    Day Shift: Sunday – Tuesday | 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM

    Night Shift: Thursday – Saturday | 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM

    Pay Range: $20 – $24 per hour Night Shift Differential: Additional $1.00/hour for night shifts
