Location: Ellis County / Dallas–Fort Worth, TX Facility: Phoenix Residential
About the Role
We’re looking for Direct Care Staff with backgrounds in juvenile detention, behavioral health, or residential treatment. This is a hands-on role working with youth (ages 10–17) with mental health behaviors/diagnosis or Intellectual Disabilities/Autism. You’ll ensure safety, provide structure, and support their treatment journey.
Pay Depending on experience Part-time Direct Care $17 and up depending on experience Full- Time Direct Care $20 and up depending on experience Full-Time Supervisor $22 and up depending on experience
What You’ll Do
Supervise youth and maintain a safe, structured environment
Support daily routines: meals, school, recreation, group sessions
Use trauma-informed strategies to de-escalate challenging behaviors
Document incidents and progress notes
Transport youth to school, appointments, and community outings
Work closely with supervisors and treatment teams
What We’re Looking For
Experience: juvenile detention, behavioral/mental health, or residential treatment preferred
Minimum: High school diploma/GED, 25+ years old (per state licensing requirements)
Strong communication and crisis-management skills
Valid driver’s license
Must pass FBI fingerprinting & drug test
