Our House is a residential training center that provides skills training for at-risk teenage boys. We work with our residents to become happy, healthy, and productive individuals, focusing on personalized development plans for future success. As a Direct Care Staff member you will be providing direct supervision of our trainees.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• At least 21 years of age
• High School Diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree or above preferred
• Residential non-DDA childcare training
• MANDT or other Behaviorial Management Training
• Reliable transportation to and from work
• Certified Medication Technician (CMT) desired
• RCYCP license OR willingness to become licensed upon hire
• Willingness to sign a confidentiality agreement
• Background check, physical exam, and TB testing
• Weekly availability that includes AM, PM and Overnight shifts

Duties and Responsibilities

• Provide continuous supervision and coverage of residents as outlined in the Trainee Handbook
• Perform weekly room checks for all residents
• Complete bi-hourly rounds and record notable resident conduct through the daily shift log and resident progress reports
• Provide off-site transportation for residents as needed
• Assist residents with daily care functions and behavior management
• Plan and implement individual and group activities in conjunction with resident improvement plans
• Report any vehicle maintenance or needed repairs
• Dispense medications and perform drug testing as directed (CMT license only)
• Maintain safety and security of staff office and all other spaces at all times
• Attend all staff meetings
