PHC is expanding and seeking capable and flexible individuals to join our team for various shifts, including overnight, morning, afternoon, evening, and weekends as we provide care 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
We offer Part-Time and Full-Time shifts:
PHC is particularly drawn to individuals who possess a deep passion for creating a meaningful difference in the lives of children with developmental and/or behavioral disabilities. The children under our care greatly thrive when supported by responsible adults who can offer them guidance, supervision, and mentorship. A significant portion of the care takes place within the home (facility) we highly value individuals who exhibit an eagerness to take the children out into the community for engaging and enjoyable activities.
Compensation starts at $20 hour and up depending on experience.
The staff members will motivate and aid the children to thrive in an environment that fosters independence and normalization. support and assist the individuals we serve in reaching their personal goals. They will also offer guidance and instruction in various aspects, such as
personal hygiene,
grooming,
cooking,
cleaning skills,
socialization,
recreation,
medication management,
and menu planning
Our staff members will participate in various special community occasions and engaging fun activities. These may include:
outdoor walks,
engaging in games,
and attending social events.
Members of our staff must:
1 year of relevant experience in various aspects of childcare, including babysitting, daycare, being a nanny, and educational backgrounds related to child development and care.
Have Patience and Stamina to keep up with the demands of children
Strong verbal & communication skills with adults & children
Follow the developed schedule/plan for the children throughout the day
Completion of daily notes before end of shift
Log all events of the shift in the log for the next staff member
Review Shift notes at the beginning of shifts
Pre-service and In-Service Training (done prior to start date and during employment with PHC)
Must be 21 years of age or older
High School graduate or GED equivalent –
Have a clear criminal history and pass a background check
Infant/adult CPR/First Aid license and Bloodborne pathogen certificate
Negative TB test
Nurse Delegation
Current valid driver license, car, and car insurance.
HCA or NAR or CNA or equivalent
Nurse delegation - required within 2 weeks of employment
