Your role will involve direct interaction with residents, supporting their physical, emotional, and social well-being, and maintaining a positive, enriching environment. Responsibilities: • Resident Care: Provide physical and emotional support to residents in their daily activities, including personal hygiene, feeding, mobility assistance, and more. • Support Independence: Encourage residents to perform activities to the best of their ability, fostering independence and self-esteem. • Health Monitoring: Observe and document changes in residents' health, including behavior, mood, and physical condition. Report any significant changes to the supervisor or medical team. • Communication: Communicate effectively with residents, their families, and your team to ensure the highest standard of care. • Safety: Ensure a safe environment for all residents by adhering to health and safety protocols. • Team Collaboration: Work closely with other care staff and medical professionals to ensure comprehensive care. • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of resident care, activities, and any changes in condition, in compliance with regulatory standards. Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED • (required); additional certifications in healthcare (CNA, HHA, etc.) are a plus. Experience: • Previous experience in direct care, healthcare, or working with individuals with disabilities is preferred but not required. Skills: • Compassionate and empathetic approach to care. • Strong communication skills. • Ability to work well independently and as part of a team. • Patience, flexibility, and a positive attitude. Physical Requirements: • Ability to lift, assist with mobility, and perform physical tasks related to resident care. Background Check: • Successful completion of a criminal background check and reference verification is required. Compensation: $17 - $17.50 hourly
