    Position Overview:

    We are seeking a skilled, compassionate, and confident Enhanced Direct Support Professional to support a vibrant 27-year-old autistic adult who is building his life in his own apartment. He enjoys an active lifestyle that includes bowling, swimming, roller skating, horseback riding, visits to Urban Air, eating out, and participating in community activities. He is employed part-time and is exploring additional vocational interests.

    This is an enhanced-level position requiring a high level of independence, behavioral competency, and professional collaboration. Proper documentation is essential.

    Available Shifts:

    Thursdays 9 AM to 9 PM

    Fridays 1 PM to 9 PM

    Sundays 9 AM to 9 PM

    The starting salary for this position is $27 per hour. Mileage reimbursement is $0.70/mile

    Responsibilities:

    Provide 1:1 support during unsupervised 12-hour shifts in the individual’s home and community

    Implement a Behavioral Support Plan (BSP) with fidelity, focusing on reducing inappropriate verbal behaviors

    Collect and submit detailed shift documentation using a Google Form, which includes: • Medication monitoring • Precursor behavior tracking • ABC behavior data collection • ISP outcome progress notes

    Support development of life skills and independence in a respectful, person-centered manner

    Collaborate with a well-established interdisciplinary team including a Support Broker, Support Coordinator, Behavior Specialist, Housing Tenancy Specialist, and family members

    Qualifications:

    Required:

    Bachelor’s degree in Human Services or related field, or RBT (Registered Behavior Technician) or NADDcertification

    Minimum 2 years of experience supporting autistic individuals or others with developmental disabilities

    Experience implementing behavior support plans and collecting data (e.g., ABC charts)

    Ability to work independently for extended shifts with strong reliability and judgment

    Valid driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle (local driving only; mileage reimbursed)

    Comfortable swimming and participating in physical community activities

    Must pass background checks and obtain all required clearances

    Preferred/Plus:

    Familiarity with ISP goal tracking and documentation systems
