    Schedule:

    · Friday: Flexible 2p to 5p

    · Saturday 9a-3p

    · Sunday 11a to 5p

    Job Type: Part-time Benefits: Sick Time-PTO Additional Opportunities: Part-time, full-time, (new assignments added daily)

    Golden Heart Advocacy specializes in providing one-on-one direct care services for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. As a Golden Heart team member, our goal is to provide the highest quality of service with compassion, empathy, and empowerment.

    Position Overview

    We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Direct Support Professional (DSP) to support a 23-year-old female in the Monmouth County area. The family is looking for a Golden Heart team member to support and empower their loved one in engaging interactive activities.

    Responsibilities & Interests

    Provide one-on-one support during community and recreational activities.

    Offer verbal reminders and guidance throughout daily routines.

    Interested in activities such as:

    She is a kind and personable individual with a wonderful sense of humor who enjoys engaging in a variety of recreational activities. Her interests include horseback riding, playing basketball, and dancing. She especially enjoys interactive and sensory-friendly outings, such as visiting Chuck E. Cheese and the virtual reality attraction at Bell Works, where she particularly enjoys the virtual roller coaster experience.

    Active and enthusiastic about sports and movement-based activities

    Preferences & Considerations:

    Prefers calm, supportive environments

    Dislikes large crowds and movie theaters

    Qualifications

    Required:

    Valid driver’s license and willingness to drive individuals in the community

    High school diploma or equivalent

    Availability for day shifts

    Ability to commute

    Preferred:

    1+ years of direct support experience

    Compensation

    $27.00 per hour
