Responsibilities
Provide opportunities for community integration.
Document all day-to-day activities and ensure required documentation is completed.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills to engage with individuals, families, coworkers, and outside agencies
Assist clients in maintaining a clean home
Ensure individuals receive their medication and document accurately
Assist individuals with meal preparation
Take individuals to their doctor appointments and ensure documentation by providers is completed.
Work to implement the goals of the individuals.
Engage with ongoing training requirements 24 hours of annual training required.

Requirements
High school diploma or GED equivalent
Valid driver's license
CPR/AED/First Aid certification preferred (training available)
Medication Administration preferred (training available)
Current Physical and TB test within one six months
Ability to pass a background check and, if applicable, FBI clearance.
Ability to stand for long periods
Ability to handle stressful situations
Ability to lift, push, and pull 50 pounds
Ability to complete one-person transfers with a wheelchair
