Charis Support Services is looking to fill a part-time position for Direct Support Professional

DSP to work in home with a male every Saturday 10am-4pm and Sunday from 11am-4pm. Donald has been diagnosed with Mild ID and suffers from Spina Bifida with a history of Hydrocephalous and Axis 1 diagnosis of Dysthymic Disorder. Donald truly enjoys watching different sports. He needs support with managing his time and managing his blood pressure and maintaining a healthy diet. Donald is non-ambulatory and uses a wheelchair.

Requirements:

• must be dependable
• must be comfortable with toileting and personal hygiene
• must be comfortable with preparing /serving meals
• CPR and First aid certification is required but Charis can provide the training
