    DIRECT SUPPORT PROFESSIONAL

    We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Direct Support Professional to join our team.

    As a Direct Support Professional, you will be responsible for providing support and care to individuals with developmental disabilities. You will assist our individuals with their daily living needs, ensuring their safety, health, and wellbeing.

    Responsibilities

    Assist with mobility and transfers using Hoyer lift

    Provide personal care: bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting

    Monitor and support individuals with dementia

    Administer medications and observe for changes in health

    Prepare meals tailored to dietary needs

    Offer companionship and emotional support

    Maintain a clean, safe, and healthy home environment

    Schedule and transport individuals to medical appointments, shopping trips, and day programs

    Qualifications

    Must be 18 years or older

    High School Diploma or GED (required)

    Experience with dementia care and elderly support

    Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) experience preferred

    Skilled in patient transfers using Hoyer lift

    CPR, First Aid, and Medication Administration certifications (required)

    Valid, non-provisional driver’s license (state-specific)

    Reliable transportation and active vehicle insurance in your name
