    Type: Full-Time \ Part-Time\ PRN Shifts: First 7a-3p, Second 3p-11p

    Position Overview: BOLD, Inc. is seeking a dedicated and experienced Direct Support Professional to work in a residential home for a young woman who has an intellectual and physical disability (total care).

    Position: Direct Support Professional - Residential

    In this rewarding role as a Direct Support Professional, you will play a pivotal role in helping the individuals we support achieve a fulfilling and meaningful life. By assisting them with their daily routines, you will actively contribute to their overall well-being and quality of life.

    Building meaningful connections and fostering companionship will be a key aspect of your responsibilities. Your interactions will be characterized by patience, compassion, and empathy as you engage with and support each individual in their unique journey. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to assist our house guests in organizing their daily activities, ensuring they have a joyful and enjoyable experience. Light housekeeping, cooking, skill-building, and medication administration are among the additional duties integral to this role.

    Candidate Requirements: Experience: Previous experience as a DSP/CNA working with individuals who have Intellectual and/or physical disabilities (total care). Gender Specific: Due to the personal care needs of the individual, this position is open to female applicants only. Physical Requirements: Must be able to climb stairs regularly and actively participate in daily care tasks. Personal Qualities: Must be clean, organized, proactive, and capable of following a structured schedule. Teamwork: Must work collaboratively and respectfully with the individual’s family. Bonus Skills: Experience using gait belts and assistive technology (especially communication devices) is a plus.

    Qualified candidates should have experience in this field, a high school diploma or GED, have a valid driver's license, and be able to pass a criminal background check.
