About the Role:

Join Empower Living as a Direct Support Professional and make a meaningful impact in the lives of individuals with disabilities. In this rewarding role, you will provide essential support and companionship, helping our clients achieve their personal goals and enhance their quality of life.

Responsibilities:

Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, meal preparation, and medication management.

Provide emotional support and companionship, fostering a positive and encouraging environment.

Develop and implement individualized support plans in collaboration with clients and their families.

Monitor and document client progress, reporting any changes to the appropriate team members.

Facilitate community engagement and recreational activities to promote social skills and independence.

Ensure a safe and clean living environment by maintaining household standards.

Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to enhance service delivery and client outcomes.

Adhere to all policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements in the field of direct support.

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent; relevant experience in direct support preferred.

Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for client outings.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with clients.

Compassionate demeanor with a genuine desire to help others.

Background check clearance required for all applicants.

Schedule:

Full time, part time, and on-call schedules are available between the hours of 6 am - 6 pm.
