    Job Summary

    We are seeking a compassionate, reliable, and experienced Direct Support Professional (DSP) to provide high-quality care and support to individuals with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities. The DSP plays a vital role in promoting independence, dignity, and overall well-being while ensuring the safety and health of individuals served.

    Key Responsibilities

    Provide direct care and supervision to individuals in accordance with individualized support plans

    Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and feeding

    Administer medications in accordance with state guidelines (must be Med Certified)

    Monitor and document individual progress, behaviors, and health-related issues

    Support individuals in developing life skills, social skills, and community integration

    Ensure a safe, clean, and supportive living environment

    Respond appropriately to emergencies and follow established protocols

    Maintain accurate and timely documentation (daily notes, incident reports, medication logs)

    Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and family members

    Promote dignity, respect, and person-centered care at all times

    Minimum Qualifications

    At least 1 year of experience working in a healthcare, home care, or direct support setting

    Medication Certification (Med Certified) – preferred

    CPR and First Aid Certification – preferred

    High school diploma or GED (Associate’s or higher preferred)

    Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation (if required for position)

    Ability to pass background check

    Work Schedule Requirements

    Ability to respond quickly in emergency situations
