About the Role:

Sistas Connected LLC is looking for a compassionate and dedicated Direct Support Professional to join our team in Los Angeles, CA. In this rewarding role, you'll make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals with disabilities by providing personalized care and support. Responsibilities:

Provide direct care and daily living support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD)

Assist clients with personal hygiene, meal preparation, and household tasks

Support community integration by accompanying clients to appointments, activities, and outings

Implement individualized support plans (ISPs) and document progress accurately

Administer medications and monitor health needs as directed

Foster a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment for all clients

Communicate effectively with supervisors, families, and care team members

Requirements:

High school diploma or GED required

Prior experience in direct support, caregiving, or a related human services field preferred

Knowledge of person-centered care practices and disability rights

Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred

CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)

Strong communication, patience, and problem-solving skills

Ability to pass a background check and any required state clearances

Can Speak English and Spanish
