We are seeking a Direct Support Professional to provide one-to-one, person-centered support for an individual with behavioral support needs. Support is built around his interests, strengths, and daily routines to promote engagement, emotional regulation, and success at home and in the community.
This role is ideal for someone with a strong understanding of behavior as communication and experience applying positive, relationship-based strategies.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree earned in Psychology, Education, Social Work, or Recreational Therapy
Calm, patient, and consistent approach to behavior support
Ability to follow behavior support plans and collaborate with a team
Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle
Ability to pass background checks
