About the Role:

Your Every Need Residential in Cleveland, OH is looking for a compassionate and dedicated Direct Support Professional to join their team. Responsibilities:

Provide direct care and support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD)

Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) including personal hygiene, meal preparation, and mobility

Implement individualized support plans (ISPs) and document progress accurately

Administer medications and monitor health conditions as directed

Transport clients to appointments, community outings, and recreational activities

Foster independence and community integration through skill-building activities

Communicate effectively with supervisors, families, and care team members

Requirements:

High school diploma or GED required

Previous experience in direct support, caregiving, or human services preferred

Valid Ohio driver's license with a clean driving record

Ability to pass a background check and drug screening

CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire)

Strong interpersonal skills with a patient, empathetic, and person-centered approach

Ability to work flexible shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays
