    Position: Direct Support Professional (DSP) Location: Westerville area, OH Shift: 2nd Shift Pay Range: $16.85 – $17.65 per hour

    Monday 3:00 PM – 9:00 PM

    Tuesday 3:00 PM – 12:00 AM

    Wednesday 3:00 PM – 12:00 AM

    Thursday 3:00 PM – 12:00 AM

    Friday 3:00 PM – 9:00 PM

    Key Responsibilities

    Execute every task thoughtfully, aiming for each client to live a healthy, meaningful life.

    Provide personal care—ambulation assistance, hygiene support, and bedside care.

    Perform housekeeping duties: cooking, cleaning, laundry, dishwashing, and errands.

    Support individuals or families during periods of incapacitation or convalescence—offering companionship and assistance adapting to new life situations.

    Carry out healthcare-related tasks under the direction of RNs or physiotherapists (vital signs monitoring, medication reminders).

    Plan, shop for, and/or prepare nutritious meals, or assist families in meal planning and preparation.

    Transport clients to appointments or community outings using company-approved vehicles.

    Instruct and advise clients on household upkeep, utilities, hygiene, nutrition, or childcare.

    Document and maintain records of client progress, services rendered, and any changes in condition.

    Ensure weekly reporting compliance on client goals and overall health and well-being.

    Additional duties may be assigned as needed.

    Qualifications & Requirements

    High school diploma or equivalent.

    Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

    Ability to independently lift up to 50 lbs; reposition clients using adaptive equipment with assistance.

    Maintain current CPR certification and clean background check.

    Complete state-mandated DODD 8-hour annual training and re-certification.

    Strong communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.

    Experience with individuals with developmental disabilities preferred.
