    Terrapin House is seeking caring, dependable Direct Support Staff to provide one-on-one support to a young adult with autism in the Quakertown area.

    This position focuses on helping an individual live a meaningful life at home and in the community while providing consistency, structure, and positive support.

    Available Shifts

    Day Shifts

    9:00 AM – 5:00 PM

    Weekdays and weekends available

    Evening Shifts

    4:00 PM – 12:00 AM

    Weekdays and weekends available

    Overnight Shift

    12:00 AM – 9:00 AM

    Weekdays and weekends available

    Full-Time and Part-Time positions available

    Responsibilities

    Provide one-on-one support in the home and community

    Assist with daily living skills and personal growth

    Encourage community participation and meaningful activities

    Promote safety, independence, and quality of life

    Support established routines and schedules

    Follow individualized support plans

    Complete required documentation accurately and timely

    Communicate effectively with family and team members

    Required Qualifications

    Applicants must meet at least one of the following qualifications:

    1-2 years experience supporting individuals with autism, intellectual disabilities, behavioral health needs, or related human service experience

    Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)

    Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)

    Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in:

    Psychology

    Education

    Special Education

    Counseling

    Social Work

    Mental Health

    Or a related field

    Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst (BCaBA)

    Candidates with extensive experience supporting individuals with autism may be considered if they are willing to obtain NADD certification.
