About the Role:

Responsibilities:

Provide personalized support and care to individuals with developmental disabilities.

Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal hygiene and meal preparation.

Implement individualized care plans and monitor progress towards goals.

Promote social skills and community engagement through various activities.

Maintain accurate documentation of client progress and incidents.

Collaborate with healthcare professionals and family members to ensure comprehensive care.

Participate in training and development programs to enhance skills and knowledge.

Uphold a safe and respectful environment for all clients.

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certifications preferred.

Previous experience in direct support or caregiving roles is a plus.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with clients.

Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.

Compassionate and patient demeanor with a commitment to client welfare.

CPR and First Aid certification preferred or willingness to obtain.

Background check clearance required.

Reliable transportation to travel to client locations.
