RESPONSIBILITIES AND ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

• Direct phone contact with existing Drivers and Owner Operators
• Direct phone contact with existing Carriers within our database.
• Knowledge and experience with the major Load Boards
• Ability to negotiate favorable rates for available equipment
• Dispatch and proactively follow through on every live load to ensure Pick-Ups are made in a timely manner
• Communicate with Sales and Customer Representative team members
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with rapidly changing priorities

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Current industry experience and knowledge
• College degree preferred, high school diploma with two years proven transportation experience a plus
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and the ability to quickly learn new TMS systems
• Strong telephone and written communication skills
• Assertive, passionate, and dedicated to succeeding
• Ability to work independently while supporting an overall team mentality
• Ability to work in an office environment
• Manage complex Customer situations promptly and professionally
• Ability to multi-task
• Must read, write, and speak English fluently. Bi-lingual is a plus.
• Positive attitude with a strong desire for career growth and advancement
