Responsibilities:

Provide direct care and daily living assistance to individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities

Support clients with personal hygiene, grooming, meal preparation, and household tasks

Implement individualized support plans (ISPs) and document progress accurately

Assist with community integration, transportation, and recreational activities

Administer medications and monitor health needs per established protocols

Communicate effectively with supervisors, families, and care team members

Promote client independence, dignity, and self-advocacy at all times

Requirements:

High school diploma or GED required

Previous experience in direct support, caregiving, or human services preferred

Valid driver's license and reliable transportation

Ability to pass a background check and drug screening

CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire)

Strong interpersonal skills with a patient, empathetic, and person-centered approach

Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, or overnight shifts
