A high-performing accounting, tax and consulting firm seeks a Tax Partner for their Los Angeles office.The firm’s clients are mainly comprised of domestic and international companies in technology, manufacturing and distribution. In this role, you will build out the entire tax team from the ground up.

Responsibilities:

• Direct multiple engagements and serve tax needs of varied clients base
• Technical oversight of tax work for domestic and international clients
• Mentor and supervise staff assuming leadership position within organization
• Head responsibility for engagement planning, organizing and delegating efficiency maximization, quality goals achievement, productivity maintenance and exploit realization
• Management of client relationships
• Business and process improvements
• Understand and manage firm risk on tax services
• Thought leader and technical expert on complex tax returns
• Consult on complex tax matters
• Provide full spectrum of business and tax guidance to foreign and domestic owned entities
• Participate in corporate structure, divestitures, mergers and acquisitions, financial reporting, litigation support, earnings and profit analysis, inventory and other tax accounting procedures
  

Qualifications:

• Current or recent experience as a Tax Senior Manager, Director or Partner in the Tax Services Practice in a Big-4, national, or large regional sized Public Accounting firm, with a clear progression of career advancement
• Demonstrated ability to generate business through current client contacts and networking
• Active CPA required
• Proven success in a leadership role managing high level clients and high performing teams
• Experience managing high level engagements with in-bound and out-bound tax clients
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with a demonstrated ability to develop and maintain outstanding client relationships
