  • Responsibilities

    Major studio in Los Angeles is seeking to hire a Caroline Production Assistant. We are seeking qualified applicants who have experience with managing informaiton, content, video, and more between departments

    Key Responsibilities

     

    · Assist the Caroline production team with managing metadata, content ingestion, and delivery to digital partners

    · Scheduling products in Digital Supply Chain scheduling modules and business systems

    · Product & Track level metadata entry & management

    · Submission, review, and management of digital content and assets according to the Digital Supply Chain rules and standards

    · Manage any partner restrictions/exceptions or rights restrictions on scheduled products

    · Liaise with the Digital Supply Chain to ensure that content and data sent into the Supply Chain meets the required delivery standards of UMG delivery partners

    · Assist in troubleshooting metadata or delivery issues or routing issues to escalation points

    · Coordinate parts orders for audio uploads with Universal Music Studios

    · Ad hoc administrative duties for department including UPC generation & tracking, project milestone tracking, a video claiming & reporting, running release schedules, and tracking product delivery.

    Additional desired skills

    · Knowledge of digital audio and video formats a plus

    · Basic Photoshop, InDesign experience a plus

    · Working understanding of key record label operations terms and assets; i.e. ISRC, UPC, publishers, wav files, DDP

    · Comfortable with data-heavy projects

    · High proficiency in Microsoft Excel
