We are currently looking for a Senior Staff Accountant who has a passion for business operations, a strong desire to jump in, and have an advanced Quickbooks background.   We are seeking someone who can support the Accounting Manager with Month End and Treasury services.  You should be analytical, a natural problem solver, and works well under pressure, all while contributing to a team environment and doing their best work. Every position on the team counts, and we take our work seriously and hold each other accountable.  

This role will report to the Accounting Manager & Finance Managers and Directors.

Responsibilities

• This role will maintain general accounting in Quickbooks, A/P, A/R, Payroll, ACH and overall general ledger maintenance
• Prepare, Post, Enter journal entries
• Become a trusted advisor to the controller and manage expectations
• Responsible for regular record maintenance & filling
• Work with senior leadership and account managers with special project support - includes, but not limited to research, status reports, etc.
• Assist with Month End
• Maintain Financial Reports and Client Dashboards
• Work on developing & maintaining business processes

Experience requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Accounting
• Experience with manufacturing is plus
• 3+ years of Quickbooks accounting experience
