    TITLE: Contracts Administrator

    TYPE: Contact to Hire

    COMPENSATION: $30.91 per hour

    LOCATION: Los Angeles – (MacArthur Park area)

    INDUSTRY: Union – Employment Law

    We are seeking a Contracts Administrator to support our contracts division at a Union. The Contracts Administrator will provide general office and management support for employment contracts and collective bargaining agreements of the Union. You will support in creating correspondences, reviewing contracts, updating internal systems, updating management on contracts, document review, and handling contact implementation. The ideal candidate will have experience with Employment Labor Law, document review, and/or working with employment contracts.

    Daily Tasks:

    • Making outgoing calls to Representative and Members upon request
    • Prepare and provide documents, reports, presentations, and information efficiently and promptly.
    • Review existing contracts and advise management on the contract rules.
    • Assist member will positive customer service and review employment contact with member,
    • File Employment complaints and assist with employment issues related to contract.
    • Organizing, filing, and maintaining documents for legal department.
    • Draft Legal Memos for Legal Team.
    • Experience with reviewing legal employment contracts for arbitration.
    • Review current contract systems and processes and recommend improvements in order to streamline processes and improve functionality.
    • Edit, proof documents were written by staff members. This includes letters, contracts, and forms. Etc.
    • Set up and maintenance of projects files (both hardcopy and electronic).
    • Answering multi-line phones.
    • Scanning and copying documents as needed
    • Other responsibilities as assigned.

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor’s Degree
    • 2-3 years’ experience is drafting legal memos.
    • 2-3 years’ experience working in employment law.
