Accounts Payable Specialist for Major Entertainment Production Company

Los Angeles based entertainment company is looking for a Accounts Payable Specialist who will assist with accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliation, daily deposits, check printing and mailing client paid bills. Daily responsibilities include invoice scanning, credit memo processing, coding and entering invoices into computer and performing reconciliations on a monthly basis. Candidate must also have a strong work ethic and be detail oriented. Knowledge in credit insurance - past due reporting - is a perk.

Requirements:

• Assosiates Degree
• Prior experience or familiarity with bookkeeping principles, understanding A/R & A/P and experience with computerized accounting software
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Offices programs, Word, Excel, Outlook
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work alone, be a self-starter and problem solver who can multi-task effectively
