As the Senior Corporate Accountant, you will work with the corporate controller on all Finance related tasks. The task will include Financial Reporting, Reneral Ledger Accountant, Month End, Audit support. You will be responsible for handling the timeliness and accuracy of all daily, weekly, monthly, and annual financial information as the company prepares to go public. This position will be responsible for processing cash receipts, month-end, and bank reconciliations. The accountant must have Excel experience,

Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily activities with minimal supervision
• Perform expense analysis to ensure transactions and accruals are properly recorded
• Prepare journal entries and other entries for month-end close
• Prepare and post entries such as prepaid, inventory, fixed assets, and expense allocations
• Perform monthly bank reconciliations
• Maintain monthly reconciliations for various balance sheet accounts; research and resolve variances
• Responsible for the preparation and analysis of monthly financial statements and effectively communicating the financial results to members of the management team
• Prepare financial records for tax preparation

Skills/Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting (CPA is a plus)
• Proven ability to work with minimal direction, while being resourceful and independent in solving problems
• Responsive team player with the ability to quickly prioritize among numerous pressing tasks
• Highly developed mathematical, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication skills; interpersonal, written, verbal, and presentation
• Advanced experience using the MS Office Suite & QuickBooks (Word, Excel, & Dynamics)
